The earliest, and likely only mention in older texts is in Sebastien Michaelis’ Admirable History of the Possession and Conversion of a Penitent Woman (1613), which was the source cited by the occultist Gustav Davidson in his book A Dictionary Of Angels (1967). On page 325 of Michaelis’ book, it states that Rosier is “the second in order of Dominations, and by his sweet and sugared words, he tempteth men to fall in love. His adversary in heaven is Basil, who would not listen to amorous and inchanting language”.

Rosier is recognized in many traditions of daemonolatry as a spirit associated with Venusian energies. His domain includes love in all its forms—romantic love, self-love, and even the art of charm and social connection. Often described as gentle and patient, Rosier is considered a daemon of understanding, aiding in personal growth through the exploration of emotional connections.

Connolly states, “He often remains reclusive from the human eye. Most of his work is done from afar. Rosier does, however, answer prayers and listens quite well. On the Demonic plane he will stay bathed in a shadowed corner when introduced. He is very shy.” And also mentions that he is used strongly in wedding rites.

Within the Dukante system he is in the fourth Family, along with:

Astarte – Demoness of love

Ashtaroth – Priestess of friendship

Astarot – Matters concerning the heart

Amducious – The destroyer

Asmodeus – Demon of Lust

Rosier’s energy can be used in rituals designed to enhance one’s romantic life or emotional well-being. Unlike daemons who may focus on lust or passion alone, Rosier’s influence leans toward a more profound connection, helping individuals foster intimacy, trust, and mutual respect in relationships. His wisdom is especially useful in long-term partnerships where the need for deep emotional understanding is essential.

Some practitioners may also call upon Rosier when seeking to heal emotional wounds or overcome insecurities related to self-love. His influence can guide one through processes of self-reflection, encouraging confidence and emotional clarity.

If you’re interested in working with Rosier, it’s important to approach him with respect and genuine intention. Unlike some more intimidating spirits, Rosier’s energy is approachable, but sincerity is key. Here are a few ways to connect with his energy:

1. Venusian Offerings: As Rosier is aligned with Venusian energies, offerings that resonate with Venus can be ideal. These may include rose petals, honey, pink or red candles, and perfumes or oils with floral scents such as rose or jasmine.

2. Meditation and Invocation: It’s usually recommend that you start with a simple meditation to align yourself with the vibrations of love and emotional healing. Light a pink candle, burn some rose incense, and focus on your intention. When you feel ready, call upon Rosier by name, asking for his guidance in matters of the heart.

3. Sigil Work: Some choose to incorporate Rosier’s sigil into their rituals. Sigil magick can be a potent way to focus your intent and channel Rosier’s energy into your practice. Create or trace Rosier’s sigil, and charge it with your energy during your ritual.

Rosier can help illuminate areas where personal growth is needed, guiding you to become the best version of yourself, so that the love you seek is both respectful and reciprocal. His assistance in charm and attraction is best utilized to enhance your natural qualities and foster genuine connections, rather than superficial or forced interactions. Having said that, there was something that Mirta Wake mentioned in her experience with Rosier that slightly contradicts this idea of not controlling others in regards to love. She mentions, “For who should approach him, anyone that needs help with love, even self love. He’s not picky and has no moral qualms doing whatever you want done, even tying another person to you. Rosier is not looking for long term followers, or disciples so it seems, but he’s not picky with who wants to work with him. For who should not work with him – those that would have a moral issue with what was done and would feel guilty about it. If you’re not sure, don’t call on Rosier. If you’re certain that this is what you desire, go ahead.”

Correspondences:Direction: SouthPlanet: Venus Metal: Rose GoldElement: FireColors used when working with him: Pink, Light Rink, Magenta, Purple, Black, Red, Rose Pink, Rose, Rose RedIncense and Scents used when connecting with …

[1

post-255","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
