The Goetia Ritual<\/em> commentary notes Camio\u2019s association with the thrush, which links symbolically to the nightingale. The nightingale carries a tragic mythological resonance through the story of Philomela, who, after suffering brutal assault and mutilation, was transformed into the nightingale whose mournful song echoes through the night. This symbolism layers Camio with associations of sorrow, transformation, and the voicing of what has been silenced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
