Mirta Wake cautions that Alloces does not entertain half measures. When working with him, one must be committed and passionate about the field of study or project being undertaken. He is serious in nature and expects the same seriousness from those who call upon him.

In The Goetia Ritual commentary, Alloces is framed as bringing knowledge with force and active intent. His leonine features and fiery eyes embody the tension between celestial and demonic forces, creative and destructive impulses—the devourer and renewer. He represents the act of breaking down in order to return things to their primal unity.

An unusual claim made in this text is that Alloces possesses powers in necromancy: the ability to summon deceased souls, compel them to answer questions, and give voice to the silence of the grave. However, this attribution is not widely supported in other grimoires or occult texts. It may be worth verifying directly through spirit contact rather than taking it at face value.

For most practitioners, Alloces is best approached as a teacher and guide in intellectual and creative pursuits. He aids in mastering disciplines that require both inspiration and structure, such as astronomy, sciences, and the arts.
