Becoming a Seeker of the Temple does not make you a fully fledged member or give you access to the First Degree material or a mentor. However, you will gain access to more material about the Temple, which should help to explain things a little further, just to make sure this is something you are interested in, and you will also be given a daily practice to do where you will learn about the IAO Banishing/Cleansing Rite that was developed for the Temple members.
Once you have worked your way through the reading material and have been practicing the daily offering, cleansing and meditation for an acceptable period of time, you can then ask to gain access to the Temple and to the First Degree material. This will be done via an interview, and if you are ready to proceed, you can then take the necessary steps.
